He knew it was coming; he locked his doors and stripped down, huddled on the bed and waiting for it to be over. He didn't have to see the moon to know it had risen, the cold sweat that broke out all over his skin, the flushed feeling, his quickening pulse... and then the pain.... the horrible pain as muscles stretched, bones reconfigured, and the prickling of hair spreading out all over his body... and he knew, as his consciousness fought the losing battle once again, that this was just the begining of the horror that the night would promise.
Now THIS is good werewolf art! This is incredible. I love the description too!
so he knows hes a werewolf....
Cool pose and expression, though I don't imagine it would be very helpful in the oncoming change. I really hate when it's portrayed as being quick and painless, how could such a dramtic thing be so? It would be horrific. I really love how you've done the expression, the feet, and the nub of the will-be tail. Great work.
Is it Ambrose? Poor boy....
Actually this one was just intended on being a random werewolf :3 - though I Have drawn an ambrose pic recently I need to upload - I hadn't drawn him in far too long
Nice job! The description really sets it off nicely, too.
I always like seeing transformation imagery. Your description is a really nicely done one as well but the image itself is a lot more raw than what is normally done. It has a certain power of it's own and you did a nice touch with having each limb all different. The little growing tail...the spinal ridges showing...the hint of ribs there poking through...it's really well done. Great work!
Hello watergazer, and thanks for the comment! *nods* I love transformation artwork as well and wanted to try something a littttle different in this one - and overall I'm pleased with it. I may just end up having to color it as well :3
