Angharad Insane by arania Angharad Insane by arania
Another Island of Dr. Moreau character, Angharad - and this is a reintrepretation of her 100%. Her serum wasn't precisely a success. While she's fine physically, an experimental version of a faster-working serum drove her insane.

Can't blame, I guess. The pain would drive me mad, too...either that or the price I'll have to pay for shampoo.

Absolutely LOVE the feel of this!
Great job on the watercolors; they definately lend themselves to the feel of the piece...
The expression is wild, too. She looks insane, angry, all that good stuff... but something about it looks kind of sad as well.

Very cool! <3

Thank you Emer~! I've loved watercolors every time I've set out to do a piece with them, but I think this is the first piece in a while I had the confidence to step outside of a monochrome - and also this was a test to see how well I could use them with non-textured bristol as well as op top of an inked piece. I was really happy that the inks didn't run and that I think it was a very successful test of the media <3
