Ambrose windblown

Ahhh... it feels good to draw my own characters again - even if somewhat quicker pieces. I did this piece for a couple reasons - one, because I wanted to sit down and do a more detailed pencil piece on some good bristol, and I wanted to work on trying to do better with fur textures (Something I think I still need to work at some, but I don't really know how to start). And for two, I wanted to draw, a year later, a comparison to my earlier work, "Battle's Never Over" ([link]) - which I was really impressed wtih a year ago - to see if I've improved. And, looking back, I'm actually surprised at how much difference I do notice... and it makes me feel good - all that constant drawing is actually showing for something - though there are still so many artists out there I envy and respect at the same time ^_~
