Thanks to my Patreon account, I have gotten to the point where I can do a portfolio/personal piece once a month.

So here we go! This is my portfolio piece for November. During our trip/honeymoon, my wife and I visited the Mucha museum in Prague, and it was fantastic to see some of Alphonse Mucha's pieces up close and in person, and it was a really lovely shared experience to talk about style, the way he depicted women, and some of the commanalities to his artwork.
I wanted to do a piece inspired by Mucha of my wife - to celebrate the honeymoon and trip, and doing these portfolio pieces for my Patreon has been a fantastic opportunity to explore these side projects. I did this digitally, because I was more inspired by the style than necessarily the technique (and a lot of his pieces were done print-style, and that's not something I'm familiar with at all).
But I wanted to integrate the broad outer lines, the way he draws women, some
"simple" designwork at the corners, and other iconography and color choices to represent my wife
This piece in particular is directly inspired by Mucha's piece, and my wife's favorite of the pieces they had there "Fruit" - I loved the way he drew and celebrated the beauty of a more fully-figured woman, the posework, and attention to detail.
